Our Mission is to transform the lives of animals through compassionate care and services, outstanding educational programs, and advocacy for all animals.

We are proud to adopt out over 90% of the animals that come into our care, which meets the definition of a “no-kill” shelter. However, we choose not to label ourselves as such, as the term can be misleading. In rare cases, we must make the difficult decision to humanely euthanize animals that are deemed dangerous or are too seriously or terminally ill to live comfortably. Every decision is made with the utmost compassion and focus on the welfare of the animals and the safety of our community.
